Antanas Gerlikas

Collection consists of 17 unique glasses, the shapes are based on wine glass prototypes and
observation of changes in restaurants during customer service. The phenomenon of craftsmanship is one of my main interests. I work and communicate with professionals from different fields, like wood, metal and glass experts. I am searching for the secrets of craftsmanship. The dimensions of the world connects craftsman, artist and creator in the existence of the „global internet“, but it does not represent the object. Recognition the decisive moment is the dialogue between the craft and vision of creativity. This dialogue creates new forms of expression and permanent values.
