Rūta Indriūnaitė

RUTRUT is a brand that unites Rūta Indriūnaitė's creative searches and discoveries. The connection with applied ceramics, which began more than a decade ago, merges into unique handmade works of art, uniting recovered forms, lasting value and unpretentious authenticity. The structure inspired by natural motifs, its simplicity and moderation are a derivative of carefully and carefully controlled material. With my works, I aim not only to revive the tradition of donating works of art by applying them in the interior as a detail, but also to give them a practical function. Nature morte "- new for 2019. RUTRUT collection. The recognizable sunflower decor in the objects is complemented by a more natural, coarse, sand-like texture. The object loses its function, becomes a decorative element and creates space around itself in rich colors. Stoneware, 1270⁰C.
