Statement
It comes naturally for me to recognise patterns in all things, between daily surroundings, objects and other imageries – I also find great joy in finding connections between seemingly unrelated things. This is because of my viewing tings without their literary definitions, but only on their visual compositions and their connections with other things. Hence, most of my past projects tend not to have a narrative including my most recent Project (BA Graduate Project 2023), but a visual network born out of spontaneity, which I will then pull everything in when approaching a deadline to inform the final designs.Mei Shen
