Statement
From Ivan’s travels and encounters emerge collections of unique glass works called Voyages. Each Voyage is an incursion into a natural or cultural landscape, moving from whose architectures, colours, scents and accents, Ivan extracts the material and immaterial substance of his work.Exotic fantasies, industrial nightmares, erotic dreams, age-old visions, intergalactic trips: every experience is translated into glass as the meeting point between technique and tradition. Each collection is a recollection of encounters shaped by the hands of glass masters in Murano. Each piece is unique, signed and dated.
