Bokyung KimThe works are created exclusively in turning technique. Characteristic of objects are various colors, which are either applied with a brush or inlaid into the stamped surfaces.

The series of works ZYLINDER is based on six vessels that fit into each other.
Both casting and turning techniques are used for the works.
The main material is porcelain paste. Fine colored lines alternating with white porcelain permeate the objects.
At the top edge, each piece is cut out in an identical pattern to make the two-tone layering visible inside the wall as well.
The interior of the vessels is glazed semi-matte to make them suitable for everyday use.
