I develop my jewelry from the material. It must inspire and appeal to me. This can be a piece of wood or iron or another found object. It is the special shape, the color or the surface structure that inspires me. In combination with silver, I then create pieces of jewelry that tell their own story and evoke a wide variety of associations in the viewer. I prefer clarity and reduction, even larger pieces of jewelry are well wearable and functional.
