Inga Likšaitė

The point of departure was a stitch. Continuous practicing opened to me its potential, I've found a special connection between medium and picture, alongside individual esthetic language developed. It's based on linear and geometric patterns, and forms a substance for a bigger image.
Tangible entity of sewing evokes attraction to examine closer. Microscheme-like patterns suppress bigger image with its intense inner structure.
It's what moves my interest and leads towards examination of pattern theme in manifold aspects. It's about an attempt to question things that already have a common place.
